Empowering the Marginalized: Supporting Kerala’s Underprivileged Communities

In Kerala, while we are known for our progress, many communities still face significant challenges, often living in vulnerable circumstances. These marginalized groups – including tribal communities, fisherfolk, and other rural populations – are frequently the most impacted by environmental changes and have limited access to resources.

At EZED Foundation, we believe that environmental sustainability is inextricably linked to social justice. Our work extends to supporting these underprivileged communities, helping them build resilience and improve their quality of life. We understand that healthy environments thrive when the people living within them are empowered.

We work closely with these communities to understand their needs and build their capacity. This includes promoting sustainable livelihoods, ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, and providing education on environmental stewardship.
